ESL - English as a Second Language

In this Section, we explore the joys and travails of learning another language through the eyes of an immigrant.

English is a difficult language - hardly any structure, no masculine/feminine cases, and most of it is a hodge-podge of languages from nations that once conquered Britain. Imagine having to explain to an eager mind the differences between to, too, and two? How to distinguish between their, they're, and there?
SenorGuapo from our forum has kindly volunteered to relate the stories of immigrants struggling through ESL, and of the teachers dedicated to helping these hardworking students make their American Dream a reality.
